What is PMU Phibrows, and how does it work?
PhiBrows Microblading is a manual, semi-permanent makeup technique used to create natural-looking eyebrows. Using a special handheld tool, fine hair-like strokes are etched into the skin to mimic natural brow hairs. PhiBrows artists follow the "golden ratio" to ensure perfect symmetry for each client’s face.
How is PhiBrows different from traditional microblading?
PhiBrows follows a precise method using the golden ratio (1.618) to measure facial symmetry and create the perfect brow shape for each individual. PhiBrows-trained artists also use a high-quality pigment that ensures natural-looking results that last longer compared to traditional methods.
How long does PhiBrows Microblading last?
PhiBrows Microblading typically lasts between 12 to 18 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. After this period, a touch-up is recommended to maintain the look.
What is lip blush, and how long does it last?
Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that enhances the natural color and shape of your lips, giving them a fuller, more defined appearance. Lip blush typically lasts 2 to 3 years, with color gradually fading over time.
Is the PMU painful?
Not particularly. Most clients report feeling only slight pressure or mild discomfort.
How long does the healing process take?
For microblading and powder brows, initial healing takes 1 to 2 weeks, but full healing can take up to 6 weeks. Lip blush healing takes about 5 to 10 days. During this time, you may experience some flaking or light scabbing, which is completely normal.
What aftercare is required?
Aftercare instructions will be provided following your treatment. You will need to avoid excessive sweating, water exposure, and applying makeup to the treated area during the healing period. Keeping the area clean and moisturised as directed is crucial for optimal results.
How long does each procedure take?
A typical microblading, powder brows, or lip blush session lasts between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the treatment and individual client needs.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Before your appointment, avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications. It's also recommended to avoid sun exposure and waxing the brow area for at least 48 hours before treatment.
